SILENT FIGURES (Book)
“Silent Figures”, a book of illustrations by Fabian Van Beek, is a compendium of drawings created between MMXX & MMXXIII.
While intended for a varienty of puposes – be it album covers, shirt motives or tattoo designs – all figres hold on thing in common: they are faceless, mute, silent.
Many of these illustrations are based on pieces by old masters of the drawing and eching craft. They are adaptations and re-interpretations of their original forms and can be seen as collage-works.
